But there is no guarantee a deal will be struck suitable for both parties. Until there is he's a West Ham player and treated the same as any other player.

So the SIMPLE fact is he's being paid so is training as normal.

Nolan IS different if he's being outed, outed being the difference

Re: Your starting 11 vs Arsenal away?
Not strange at all

ALL players that played a significant number of games towards the end of last season were given an extra week off.

Nolan is no different.

Re: Your starting 11 vs Arsenal away?
"There would be a fee if we sold him, he's under contract, that gets you a fee."

Just because he's under contract doesn't mean there has to be a fee. West Ham know there is no chance of demanding a fee for Nolan.

"If club and him arranged for a pay off, that'd probably be the tearing up of contract, and being paid off."

Yes West Ham and Curtis are working on a deal where he would get some kind of pay off.

"Id still refuse the move if i was him, but I'm not "

You have no idea if you would refuse to move as you're not in that position.

Nolan has more than enough money to see out his days in comfort BUT he only has 1 or 2 season left to be able to play so he doesn't want to do that at a club he's got little choice of playing.

His basic isn't £50k I think you'll find and he's not asking for a move, it's being worked out so he gets a pay off.

He can't happily park his large one on the bench if the manager doesn't feel he's good enough and at 33 he knows time is fast running out to play.

Oh and what fee? Nobody is going to pay to take Nolan.

Re: Your starting 11 vs Arsenal away?
tbh, can't see him looking for the move, he's on 50k weekly, if he asks for a move he forfeits the signing on bonus,

Could happily park his large one on the bench, play cup games, move and keep the fee next year???

no brainer I think it's called.

Id tell em to shove it

Re: Your starting 11 vs Arsenal away?
We'll see if he gets his move then, no idea why'd they want him, Championship is 132 mph, Nolans on about 14 downhill

Re: Your starting 11 vs Arsenal away?
But anyone looking at Nolan will see he just can't cut it anymore in the PL, his legs have gone.

What you'll find in the lower teams are hard working players, players going to give 100% effort. Their chance to survive is a great work rate and Nolan doesn't offer that.

His people have been speaking to Bolton because that's the best level he's going to be able to play at.

Re: Your starting 11 vs Arsenal away?
croe,

Bit of a wrong statement there, the best players play for the best teams, the worse they get, the smaller the team.

"so Nolan couldn't do a job at Watford or Bournemouth?? "

Why do they play different teams in the PL to everyone else?

"But if he's here he'll make the squad "

You can keep repeating that over and over again, doesn't make it true.

EVERYONE at the club knows Nolan is spent as a Premier League football.

Re: Your starting 11 vs Arsenal away?
icwhs 2:11 Sun Jul 5

Because Nolan doesn't want to stay as he knows he won't be playing and the club don't want him to stay as he's legs have gone taking away his one and only real attribute.

So as I understand it the club are talking with Nolan's people to do a deal so he can leave.

If Bilic sees what we've seen he won't be anywhere near the stiffs let alne the first squad. In my opinion!
